In brief

INNOVA (INNOVA CONSULT LTD.) is an applied-innovation and technology company in Ottawa, Ontario, incorporated federally in 2023. It researches, prototypes, builds and deploys applied AI and software. Its eight projects each show their real stage: 3 live, 1 in development, 3 prototypes and 1 exploring. The board above shows five; all eight are on the Projects page.

From opportunity to deployment.

One accountable lead stays with each project from the first study to the measured result, so nothing is lost in a hand-off.

  1. 01

    Opportunity

    Find the problem worth solving

We study how the organization works today.

  2. 02

    Research

    Test what is technically possible

We test the options against real data first.

  3. 03

    Prototype

Build the smallest version that works

A working version that real users can try.

  4. 04

    Build

    Engineer it for daily use

Security, permissions and audit built in.

  5. 05

    Deploy

    Put it in people’s hands

Rolled out inside the tools people already use.

  6. 06

    Impact

    Measure what changed

Time, cost, errors and adoption against the baseline.

AI transformation starts with how work actually happens.

INNOVA AI Workflow OS Prototype

From business processes to measurable AI automation.

Workflow OS maps a company’s operations, scores every process for automation value and recommends an architecture for each one, from plain software to supervised AI agents. The result is an implementation plan with a projected return that can be checked after go-live.

Where we build, research and explore.

Areas we build in, research or are starting to explore. The mark on each row says which.

Building

  • AI & agentic systems

Agents that work inside business records under human approval, with each action logged for review.

    AICRMIUS, Workflow OS, FINMOZG

  • Business software

Back offices, registers and portals that replace spreadsheets and inbox workflows.

    UAFest ecosystem

  • Community & public platforms

Public-facing services where privacy, accessibility and trust matter as much as features.

    FoundWall, UAFest

  • Data & knowledge systems

Turning mailboxes, documents and operating history into searchable, auditable records.

UAFest mail archive, AICRMIUS knowledge base

  • AgriTech

A prototype logbook and reports for mixed fleets of agricultural robots; field validation planned for 2027.

    OpenField

Exploring

  • HealthTech & PharmaTech

Workflow and documentation problems where careful automation can save clinical and lab time.

  • Public-sector technology

Digital services, knowledge tools and pilots for complex operational environments.

  • Dual-use technology

Software and AI for defence-adjacent programs, at the research and proposal stage.

Projects, each with its real status.

Live products, systems in development and early research sit side by side. Every project carries one status, and the track shows its stage.

Projects we take on with partners.

Applied R&D, pilots and commercialization, built together with industry, researchers and public organizations.

What a funded project with INNOVA looks like

  1. 1 A written technical question and the uncertainty behind it.
  2. 2 A starting point and a target for the work.
  3. 3 Two or three milestones, each ending in something a reviewer can run.
  4. 4 Measured results, including the experiments that failed.

Example: OpenField. Prototype on demo data today; field validation planned for the 2027 season.

New technology. Experienced operators.

INNOVA is led by its founder, Maksym Stepanenko.

For funded and client projects, engineering, security review and domain specialists are brought in as named subcontractors or partner firms, listed in the proposal before work starts.

His work with businesses across many jurisdictions and industries showed how companies run, where processes break and what it takes to get a new system adopted.
